Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Adaptum works fully on your device without an account. An account is only needed if you want a cloud backup to restore your training on another phone.
How do backup and sign-in with a code work?
Open Profile → Account & Data and tap Create account. Enter your email address and you will receive a one-time code from noreply@adaptum.app. Enter the code in the app to sign in. There is no password.
Once signed in, Adaptum backs up automatically when you leave the app if something changed. You can also tap Back up now on the Account screen. On a new phone, sign in with the same email address and the app offers to restore your backup. Under Restore a previous backup you can go back to one of your last ten backups.
No code? Check your spam folder, make sure the address is spelled correctly and request a new code. Codes are only valid for a short time.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, open Profile → Account & Data and tap Create account; when you are signed in, this opens your Account screen. Then choose:
- Delete account – permanently deletes your account, your cloud backup including all previous versions, and your training tips consent from our servers.
- Delete cloud backup – deletes your backups but keeps your account.
Both ask for confirmation and cannot be undone. Data on your phone is not affected: to erase it, use Profile → Account & Data → Reset all data, or uninstall the app.
Can't sign in any more? Email privacy@adaptum.app from the address of your account and ask us to delete it. We will delete the account and all data stored with it, and confirm by email within one month at the latest.
How do I export my data?
Open Profile → Account & Data → Export data. Adaptum creates a file (JSON) with your profile, environments, plans and complete training history, and opens the share menu so you can save it or send it wherever you like. This works without an account.
How do I change the language?
Open Profile → Appearance → Language and choose English, Deutsch or Polski. Until you pick one, Adaptum follows your phone's language.
How do I turn diagnostics on or off?
Use Profile → Privacy → Send diagnostics. It is off unless you turn it on. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what it covers.
When can I download Adaptum?
Adaptum is coming soon to Google Play, with iOS to follow later. The app is not in the stores yet.
